What is an iPad?

/ipad/specs/images/dimensions_20100127.jpg

Image Taken from the website of apple

In short: An iPad is a tablet computer developed by Apple Inc.

The iPad can be compared with an iPod Touch but the iPad has more options and is bigger in size. The iPad, not to be confused with the Fujitsu iPad, also has a large Multi-Touch screen which can be used for all sorts of purposes.

It will be available in two versions: one without 3G and one with 3G. They both have a 1GHz chip in it, which is of high performance and consumes little power. The Wi-Fi only version (without 3G) will be available at the end of March. The 3G version will be available at the end of April. The 3G version handles more data, is faster and it improves the phone call sound quality. But the phone runs faster out of batteries with 3G.

The iPad has no camera which may be unwelcome for some people.

With the iPad you can read books, watch movies, browse on the internet and much more. You can watch everything in portrait or landscape.

The reason why much people bought the iPhone was because of there are around 140.000 applications for it. And you can change it in anything you want. If we may believe what Gene Munster ( senior research analyst at Piper Jaffray) said. The applications that work on the iPhone will also work on the iPad.

Specifications and notifications:

Some accessories for the iPad:

Prices:

Wi-Fi only: the 16GB version costs $499, 32GB for $599, 64GB for $699.

Wi-Fi + 3G: the 16GB version costs $629, 32GB for $729, 64GB for $829.

A short review of the options by CNN:/2010/TECH/02/01/ipad.apps.apple/index.html?hpt=Sbin

What Apple has to say about the iPad:

A large, high-resolution LED-backlit, IPS display. An incredibly responsive Multi-Touch screen. And an amazingly powerful, Apple-designed chip. All in a design thats thin and light enough to take anywhere. iPad isnt just the best device of its kind. Its a whole new kind of device. Watch the iPad video LED-backlit, IPS Display

The high-resolution, 9.7 inch LED-backlit, IPS display on iPad is remarkably crisp and vivid. Which makes it perfect for web browsing, watching movies, or showing off photos. Its also been designed to work in any orientation portrait or landscape. And because it uses a display technology called IPS (in-plane switching), it has a wide, 178 viewing angle. So you can hold it almost any way you want, and still get a brilliant picture, with excellent color and contrast. Multi-Touch

The Multi-Touch screen on the iPad uses the same revolutionary technology thats in an iPhone. But for iPad, the technology has been completely reengineered for the larger surface, to make it extremely precise and responsive. So when youre zooming in on a map, flicking through your photos, or deleting an email, iPad responds with incredible accuracy. And it does just what you want it to.

Hands-On Htc Flyer, The Magic Tablet Evernote

I was wrong and after using the evaluation model for only a few hours on Friday I went to Best Buy as soon as it opened Saturday and bought my own Flyer HTC. I posted some initial thoughts on how to use it Sunday and wanted more of my thoughts out there for all of you that believe that this device and it has to offer.

James posted some quick thoughts on a Friday and I read on Twitter on the other pick up the prospectus as well. I have an extensive image gallery that includes pictures and screenshots and a video walk through and detailed written thoughts about my experience so far. The more time I spend with HTC Flyer, the more I am impressed by all that HTC managed to pack in such a wonderful feature.

In the box and hands on the first

HTC Flyer should be sturdy white box, which is responsible for the quality of the device. Inside the box is the HTC Flyer / C, USB cable, and pamphlets. Do not have a pen or something, which is a shame. However, you can buy a stylus for $ 79.99 and I ordered a leather case with stylus holder Expansys. HTC Europe contains a pen and put the flyer, but I'm not saying that both 3G and WiFi-only models or just the 3G one. I wish the pen was $ 50 or less, but, honestly, you can use HTC Flyer without one too (just check the official Jenn).

When I pulled HTC Flyer box, I could tell it was a high quality unit. The aluminum hull felt very comfortable in my hand and weighs just under a Flyer book, so it was not too heavy for me. The width is perfect for me, especially when compared to BlackBerry playbook, there's just a little too wide. The screen is superb and the curves give it a meaning well in hand.

Specifications

Two glasses, which immediately stand out to people is a single-core processor, and use instead of gingerbread honey-bee. single-core processor is the fastest I've seen and the performances are excellent. Battery life is good, so far I'm not sure if the dual core or single core has a lot of concern here.

I have not found an attractive and preferred honeycomb Galaxy Froyo card on Motorola Xoom honeycomb. I still think it is better Gingerbread because the experience is smoother and better integrated with the application supports any hurry, so they are not updated Flyer honeycomb, which I understand in the end to make the device from HTC. Gingerbread HTC Sense works well and what's more I love IU, the device is good for my needs.

Walk through the material

The front of the Flyer HTC is dominated by 7-inch screen. , While the display looks good, looks toward the images side by side with a book of games shows playbook has a better screen, with clearer images and sharper. There are no physical buttons on the front of the circular, but there are buttons Capacitive Home, Menu, and back to green with a special stylus. These buttons light up and become functional in both portrait and landscape modes, but not in the four directions.

The upper part of the hold button and headphone jack 3.5 mm. Power button is an integrated indicator that displays charging status. microUSB port is on the bottom and even if the charger / cable on the odd standard microUSB cable will work to download the flyer and paste on your computer or a charger.

The buttons on the right side of the volume of houses and two microphone openings. There is nothing left.

The stereo speakers and a 5 megapixel camera on the back of the brochure with the change of camera in the upper left corner. There are two parts to the top and bottom of white plastic, but do not try to remove the bottom piece, and you can not remove, just to break the Flyer. The top is removed by a slight pressure in the center and drag upwards. The only reason to drag this compensation is to insert a microSD card.

Get Precision Control of Your Ipad's Touch Screen With an Ipad Pen

An iPad stylus pen will enable you to use your iPad's touch screen without placing your fingertips on it. This has the benefit of keeping your iPad screen smudge-free, and is also useful for people who have long fingernails, like to wear gloves, have large fingers, or anything else that might impair their ability to control the iPad with their fingertips.

The iPad does not come equipped with an iPad stylus which has caused some uproar. There are a number available to buy online, but since it is early days for these products, finding a pen that is effective can be a bit hit and miss. Check customer feedback to get an idea of which pen is the best, and which ones are not worth their price tag. The Boxwave capacitive stylus is highly recommended by lots of iPad users. It is effective with the iPad, gives great control, and looks smart too. Cheaper ones tend not to work as well, but that doesn't meant the most expensive ones are best. Expect to pay around $20 for a good quality stylus. It may be worth buying a cheaper back-up stylus to cover you if you loose your main stylus and need to wait for a new one to be delivered.
